Water from the source

Kind of a strange question... Is there anywhere in England that someone with no mountaineering skills can reach and is allowed to drink (safe) water directly from the source?

    yeah loads of places. the water for my hamlet comes directly from a spring

    Actually I'm searching for hidden treasure. There must be a cave next to it with an outcropping near the entrance, whose shadow falls on the spot where the treasure is buried at 4:37pm every 19th of October.

    I asked because I'd like to visit such a place eventually. :p

    Every spa town - not that you'd want to drink the water from my spa town though! Good for you but tastes vile!
