hi all im john i just signed up to this site cos it looks quite cool and i really wanna talk.
i was recently in a car crash and am currently unable to walk at the moment i am really feeling quite depressed as my work colleague who was with me at the time died and even though it wasnt my fault i just cant help but blame myself. i cant stop thinking about him and i always see his face eveywhere.
i am also strugggling at home as i cant go nowhere i cant do anything my partner is constantly working and i have no family who live anywhere near me. i just wanted to put this on so i could talk to others and hopefully i might feel a bit brighter about it all

It sounds like you've had a tough time *hug*

But it's great that you've reached out to people on here.

Cruse is a bereavement website that you can talk to trained volunteers.

I have no idea what you must be going through, but it must be awful, feeling the way you do over the accident. It's a very specific dilemma you have, you could try http://www.cruse.org.uk/ here. Cruse are a well known, national charity. They have a helpline which will probably be open now if you want to talk to someone about how you're feeling, and more importantly it'll be someone who understands.

Hi John welcome to the site

First off boring bit ...... please take some time to look around and check out the boards.

Have you had chance to have a look at the link Ellie & RubberSkin provided? I think that could be if you wanted to talk specifically about what's happened. It's great you've found us, just writing stuff down can be a good start :D

    dp

Cruse also has a young people's area called RD4U, I don't have the link to hand but they offer online support similar to this place.

How long has it been? Your post sounds like it was pretty recent.

Here is the link piccolo is referring to :)

You mentioned a work colleague...were you at work/carrying out a work activity at the time you had the accident?
