Camping at Festivals

I'm planning on goint to Guildford this year as it's down the road and always has a good line up (Beth Orton's Ussually there <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">) I was thinking of going to reading for the whole weekend on a camping ticket, and wondering what's camping at a festival, A friend went about 8 years ago to the Monsters of Rock at Donnington and told me some grim bathroom stories, but you also hear stories of tents being nicked, lot's of pick-pocketing and police stopping people on entry for drugs, which is a bitch cause I'd like to take a quater with me for the weekend to chill with.     I camped at V2000 and was nothing like that. There were no police checks or stolen tents that I know of, but then there were about 60,000 people there are I didn't speak to them all. <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif"&gt;

    My friend goes to Reading every year and she's never had any trouble so you should be safe.

    i hate camping, dont know how im gonna survive reading! ive never camped anywhere other than my back garden tho.. and the school organised camping trip once to a centre with tents already there and a building to go and wash and go to the loo in when i was 11 <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt;

    but im dying to go for all the good music! havingn said that, im going with my bf and he doesnt like all the same stuff as me, he likes metal and scary stuff like that and im just a poor ickle muse-and-ash fan <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif"&gt;
