Jeans and shoes

Hi All,

I hate buying jeans! I don't want cheap/stretchy material jeans, I want proper denim (high cotton percentage) which seems hard to find. I'm also in between petite length and regular length!

I like boyfriend style but a lot of these at the moment seem to taper at the ankle rather than being baggy. Where is a good place to buy jeans from? I like the baggy ones so I can wear trainers and hoodies with them.

I have a lovely pair of skinny jeans but other than wearing them with boots, I'm not sure what I can wear them with. Someone has suggested converse. I've never owned a pair before - which would look better the low ones or the hi-top/boot style? How do they fit as I seem to have odd shaped feet!

Any tips/recommendations welcome?

I find jean shopping a nightmare due to very short legs. Miss Selfridge jeans are good, I have numerous pairs.

As for shoes, I wear converse low tops a lot, with skinny jeans and ballet style shoes now the weather is improving (usually with pop socks). Also calf length boots or uggs. Jeans are fairly versatile, as long as you don't go out wearing flippers I'm sure you'll look fine :)
