So, basically this is the first time I've moved house in 14 years and I have full responsibility of informing everyone! This is everyone I have currently informed:
- Gas, Electric & Water Companies
- Phone, Internet and TV provider
- Set up mail redirectory through the Royal Mail
- All Banks
- Work
- TV Licence
- Council Tax - both current town and new town
- Electoral Register
- All loyalty card schemes; e.g. Nectar, Boots Advantage, etc
- HMRC
- Gym
- Dentist
- Mobile Phone Provider (Contract Phone)
Will contact once moved;
- Dentist
- Register with new GP Practice in new area
- Car Insurance Company
- Car Finance Company
- DVLA
- Passport Office
Am I missing anything important!?! Any advice greatly received! xx

I've just moved house and the only 1 I forgot was my magazine subscription. You don't seem to have put credit card companies. You don't need to do hmrc, your work will do that.

Can't think of any others, but great list to refer to for anyone else moving in the future.
Good luck with the move by the way!

    Friends
    Family
    Religious institute
Any medical contacts other than GP - e.g. hospital consultant
Delivery address on Amazon/eBay etc (that's the one that always catches me out)

I've still got a good 4 years left on my passport, so I'll leave it for the meantime.

Setting up a mail redirect is the easiest way

All moved and finally reconnected to the internet! I informed everyone except the Passport people - when I go online it tells me I don't need to inform them of a change of address?? Also set up mail redirectory but so far everything seems to be coming straight to me anyway :)
