Looking Back at 2012

Well we've got a looking forward thread, let's have a reflecting thread :) I know people have had tough years, but what were the good parts?

For me
-Having my last PGL holiday, and loving every second
-Doing well in my GCSE's
-Getting an amazing boyfriend who I love
-And today, turning the corner and actually thinking I can get better :)

Everyone else?

I didn't do enough this year. But I do feel ready to do more next year. So I guess that's progress?!

It's been a tough year when I look back. There were lots of small lovely things though. I learnt a good lesson in trusting instincts (especially with men), the importance of independence and sticking up for myself. There have been lots of laughs with friends and good books too. Also, being accepted into good uni's was great.

I've done lots of volunteering this year
    Met new people
Found an exercise class I enjoy and stuck at it. I usually get bored and stop going.

I think the best thing for me to come out of this year are

-Moving myself out of a highly abusive household
-Being recognized for the things I do and being nominated for the teen hero award, Even if I did do everyones nut in by constantly going on and on about it...oops

I met a very lovely person, who's kept me alive, and who I haven't seen nearly enough of recently :(
Other than that, it's all been a giant fuck up...

This thread's a nice idea. Sorry that some of you have had a rough year, but it's great that you can still pick out some good things to be happy about :)
