I'm not really a fan of resolutions, so I thought I'd try this out. I've had quite a tough year and so have been trying to find a few things to look forward to for 2013. You guys got an ideas? Would be nice to get a really positive thread going.
These are mine:
*Hopefully passing my driving test, getting a car and therefore gaining a bit more freedom.
*Going sailing
*The spring/summer so I can start hitting the beach after/before uni and at weekends
*Also hoping that this will be the year I start to make real progress in getting better

Finishing my course in june (can not come quickly enough!)
Hopefully developing my career, getting a 'proper' job
Moving out to my own place (hopefully)
Meeting someone nice to go out with (when pigs fly!)
Hopefully being allowed to drive again
Experiencing new things and enjoying them
Oh and having a healthy bank balance!
Also going to start reading more and learn to cook.
And spend less time sat on my ass doing nothing!
(yes, I realise that stops in June, but by then I'll have seen enough daylight

But things I'm planning to do/am looking forward to:
- watching my baby niece grow and knitting all sorts of awesome for her.
- in general I want to do and finish a lot more knitting.
- spending more time with Boy and his awesome friends. Also I want to try and see *my* friends more.
- Helen has had me doing loads this year for YouthNet and it's been awesome fun so more of that would be cool.
- I'm going to keep working on getting a job so I can move out (again).
Looking forward to maybe getting back into my driving lessons and maybe even sticking at them and passing and not falling apart.
I am only half looking forward to these things because chances are whatever happens i wont even enjoy cos im a loser
Ditto except I finish at the end of August.
Suzy, it's great you've got all those things that you can look forward to, even though you're unsure if you'll be able to enjoy them fully. Even if you can enjoy them a little bit, that's still really good.
Paying off my overdraft.
Getting a day ticket for Reading festival to see Eminem.
Ibiza with the lads.
Saving up for another travelling stint at the start of next year.
Looking at mine.....
1) done!
2) got a week's sailing planned for the summer
3) when I bring my car back here and the clocks change....
4) big fail ha
I don't think that's a fail. You're pro-actively seeking support, which is huge. You can't blame yourself for the failure of services, given everything you're doing really well.
i am looking forward to hopefully recovering fully and being able to be confident with myself in the summer.
going to the beach with friends and being comfy to actually have my legs out.
xo
yay
So it's over 6 months since we came up with these ideas, how are people getting along?
- fail
- fail
- HAHAHA
- ish
- ish
I don't think you've 'failed'. And your ishes are :yippe:
That was for my boss's baby. But yeah I've been on a roll for the last couple of weeks I guess.
Stolen from Lexi as I dittoed her:
1. I finish in a few weeks. Passed everything, just need to pass my project
2. Interview on friday so we will see
3. Unlikely as if I get the job it will be live on site. Unless I don't get it and I find another job, but until then I'll have to go back home
4. I'm now with someone, only it's long distance so we don't get to see each other as much as we'd like
