For my second year of English at sixth form I need to do some further reading, we are focusing more on Gothic literature. So if anyone has any suggestions please share. Also it can be any type of book or poem :) Thanks Louise

    Hey Louise,

Nice topic - I've changed the title for you and moved over to entertainment as your query seems to be more literary than anything...

    On topic - I recommend Frankenstein :)

I'm sure I can probably identify some poetry too, so will get back to you...

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, any poem by Edgar Allan Poe, Dracula by Bram Stoker, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley , The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by RL Stevenson. A certain scene in Frankenstein really spooked me out.. but I am a wimp.

G.M.W Reynolds - Faust, Wagner the werh-wolf, and The Necromancer is a brilliant trillogy! Theres always Dorian Gray, and loads of others if you're looking for gothic style rather than just gothic period books.
