    Hey Lou,

I wouldn't worry to much about On-Line diagnostics, but it sounds as though many people are worried about your eating habit, it's not stupid doing a On-Line test, but their also not the most accurate, you would need to see your GP or specialist, to find out weather you have a ED or not. How do you feel about clinical visits? I think it would be very useful if you visited your GP first, so they can see weather is it just a habit, or a serious problem, best off luck with the Appt :D Let us know how it goes

GP is a good start, but in the mean time, what sort of things flag you up as having an eating disorder?

what happened was my friend told my tutor about my eating habits as she was getting worried about it so my tutor referred me to student health & welfare, who works along side a GP and she says i probably do have one but i don't believe i do. it is because i skip meals and go a while with out eating and attempt to make myself sick and i limit my portions when i eat and recently eating just doesn't feel normal to me. i have agree'd to go to the eating clinic for my appointment although i am really dreading it a little worried and don't no what to expect and i have also been advised to revisit my GP.

Those do sound like symptoms of having an eating disorder. Are there any things at home or school with your friends and/or family that could be stressing you out?

sixth form and home life can be stressful yes.. i don't like to eat around people in all honesty and the slightest thing puts me off especially when people ask me what i am eating i cannot stand that!!

Sounds like you need to talk to someone before it gets out of hand

i will do i promise i will and go to the appointment in june.. well my mom is ensuring that i do go and i think that will be the only time she makes me do something i really do not want to do.. if i am honest i am a little worried about going.. i have had counselling before would it be similar to that my appointment or do you think it will be more of an assessment?

The first one is probably going to be an assessment, and they'll go from there.
