Who won't allow you to see her? How old are you? If you're 16+ you can have some control of your own affairs even if you are in care and subject to a court order.

It might be worth talking to social services about whether you could meet your mum if someone goes with you. Or maybe you could ask whether you can write to her a few times first. I don't think it would be a good idea to try to find her on your own if she's mistreated you in some way in the past. It sounds like a difficult situation to be in, and I hope you manage to work something out. Take care and keep posting

    Three questions.
    How old are you?
    Where do you live?
    Who do you live with?

Right, then you're an adult. If you want to talk to your mum, then you have the right to do so.

Plus you have a right to access your social services records, in which there may be contact information for your mother.
