We wanted to let you know about this opportunity that's come to our attention in case you're interested. This course is fully funded and therefore there is no charge to you as the learner. It will be delivered online with teachers using live classroom technology, so you just need to have access to a computer with a working broadband connection.
Details of the course are as follows:
Course Title: Employability
Level: Level 2
Qualification Title: NOCN Level 2 Certificate in Employability (QCF)
National Accreditation No.: 500/7565/2
Guided Learning Hours: 104
Duration: 6 Weeks
Hours Per Week: 15 hours (12.5 hours live lessons + 2.5 hour live, supervised class assignments session)
The course includes units on self-development, rights and responsibilites in the workplace, communication in the workplace, oral presentation and customer care.
You need to be 16/17 or 18 years old on 31 August 2011 - a date of birth between 1st September 1992 and 31 August 1995.
If you're currently in education then it must be part time. The general guideline is that the learner should not be doing more than 702 guided learning hours in one academic year.
