sore, chapped lips

because of the time of year my lips are horribly chapped and sore :( can anyone recommend a really good balm or chap stick?
im currently using vaseline with aloe and is not really working all too well
i had the carmex one but the menthol in it stung my lips!

    Drink more water, and keep using Vaseline or a chapstick. If its really bad, get a old toothbrush and brush the dead skin off your lips (lightly).

    im using the nivea lip balm (a stick one) seems to be working well and keeping them mositurised without being all sticcky

    Something with paraffin wax in it (like chapstick) will help it. I used to use balmbalm which is nice because it doesn't have nasties in it, but sometimes you need them when they're practically splitting.

    There's a cherry cola one you can buy in Primark, it's really creamy and long lasting. Also it tastes absolutely lush.

    I swear by Lush's Lip Service. Not cheap but it lasts forever.
