What to wear to a wedding

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
So, with my usual advance planning I'm going to a friends wedding tomorrow. Ceremony in church, evening do in reception place. Gap between the two.

What do I wear?

And do I wear same to both? Or change?

I have fluffy hair, so I don't do hats - that one is easy.

I have summery clothes, I have a ball dress, I have suits, I have a selection of cocktail dresses.

And I am useless at clothes (and make up, and hair styling).

Help please!

Cocktail dress, I would say. But one that can get a wee bit wet if the weather stays as is! Wouldn't bother changing between the two.

Cocktail dress plus wrap; cover up during ceremony and reveal in the night = no need to change between venues!
