Volunteering & work hours

There are an awful lot of things I wish I could volunteer and do to help out people and organisations (such as youthnet). Just wondered if there were many other people who find that their job gets in the way of loads of opportunities they want to get involved in?

I often help out in various roles during the week when I'm on holiday time, but I just wish it was more.

Anyone else out there have similar bothers with this?

I know there are a wide variety of opportunities out there, just a little niggle :(

    I always manage to fit my volunteering in around work (or work around my volunteering) and it works for me through a combination of having relatively flexible work hours, and the voluntary stuff I do being reasonably flexible.

    I've found this. It's always been "if you can't do today, just do tomorrow instead".
