    However, watch out for the quotes - these ones are pretty funny but people do go into the chat room on the understanding that what they say there won't be published anywhere else. :)

    I think it is best to avoid even posting quotes, never mind with names changed. If people come in here and see their conversations on the boards, when they thought they were only in chat, it might put people off.

    I agree, I say things in chat that I would be cagey about on the boards - to do with precisely where I live or whatever - if all the users around are people I trust. You have to assume that people want you to hold things in confidence even if they are jokey and flippant.

    I just think that opening up posting quotes from chat in this way - which is harmless enough, CupCake, I know - could lead to people using chat quotes in other threads and thinking it's ok.

    Ok, now you are a bit over the top, you cant have a go at someone for offering helpful advice, when you have posted chat logs about other peoples conversations, onto thesite, without them saying its ok.
