I'm having acupunture tomorrow for tension headaches! I'm a bit nervous as I don't know what it'll be like although I've been to the place plenty of times before for Shiatsu / yoga / nutritional therapy (it's at a women's health centre).

Has anyone had it before?

Or any other advice for the tension headaches? My GP wasn't much use, just said they were tension headaches and not to take too many painkillers as this can make it worse.

    My brother is a fan - yes, I did say brother. He's a blokey boy too and generally super cynical but has been working really well for him on muscle/shoulder problems, which are suspected to be partly down to tension.

    He swears it doesn't hurt. Good luck.
