Dating attire

Ok, I admit I am rubbish at this dating malarky and even worse at deciding what to wear! I'm meeting him at 8 for a drink so yes I am leaving this incredibly late :yeees:

I have two options in mind...

1) Rocky/casual look, black cut off's Iron Maiden tee cardigan, jewellery, tights and boots

Orrr...

2) Floral Peter Pan collar top, shorts, tights and boots.

Do I go girly or a little more indie chic :chin:

And I'm afraid I DON'T own a pair of jeans so jeans and a nice top aren't an option :no:

    Can't you just dress up normally and not look like you are fancy dressing? :P Whatever became of jeans, sneakers and a pullover.

    haha you sound like me, i dont own a pair of jeans and am constantly in shorts and tights or dresses. looks lovely anyway :)

    Yay someone else that's like me...everyone looks at me so weird because I don't own a pair of jeans! But they look awful on me!

    i am a jeans-hater as well. i hate how tighter ones cling and make all my worst points look even worse, and how baggier ones make me look far bigger than i really am.

    I do like jeans, but I find it hard to get a pair that fits.

    I'm exactly the same...trying on jeans just depresses me too much! Plus dresses are much more girly and nicer ;)

    Very true.

    IMO a plain black dress is the best and safest option if you're going to meet a guy, especially if you don't know his aesthetic taste as most of us will like it, pretty much a universally appreciated look.
