How do I reference a song in a movie, Harvard style?

    wouldn't you reference the original source of the music? so it would only be referenced from the movie if it was written for it?

    But I don't know is the answer - perhaps by the time?

    I'd probably put something like (name) (year of song) (song title) and then put in brackets that its a song, in, (title of film in italics) (director) (year) (country it was released in)

    What is the essay specifically about cos it might differ its a music essay or film essay or none of the above
