Chemical Straightening

Hello everyone :]

so yeah, i know everyone says chemically straightening is bad for your hair, but, i have had no problems with it at all.

This would be my second time chemically straightening my hair, and for some strange reason, the top of my hair/head is EXTREMELY flat. Almost looks like i have no hair at all. I read in ezinearticles.com that it means that the stylist did the cream too close to the scalp. Can anyone confirm this?

Q9: Why is my hair so flat after having my hair straightened?

A: Because the process was done too close to the scalp -- wait about a week and your hair will be fine.

Thanks so much for anybody's help!

The last time I had my hair relaxed I went to a student and she burned my scalp. Hair was really flat and nasty until it grew out a few inches. You don't know awesome until you've spent a month picking scabs off your head.
