Okay, so I'm taking Codeine, which is an opiate and breaks down into morphine in your body. How long should I wait between last taking it and drinking a serious amount, where having morphine in the blood could be dangerous.

    I would be hesitant to advise you on this because mixing the two could be that serious, it might even kill you (although the amount in your system would probably be on the low side). Speak to your doctor or pharmacist who would be the best qualified to advise you. :)

    Oh, and take laxatives. Codeine/morphine will bung you up in no time.
