No real debate I guess, but we always seem to concentrate on killings, rape, racism and anti-semitism, the collapse of liberty and the end of the economy, so here's a couple of stories about the brighter side of human nature

lol was having a heated discussion with my mate whose a copper last night, he seemed to think i only think negative of his profession. All i explained is that i think they do a good job on a day to day basis, but when they cock things up they refuse to admit their mistakes, and lie to cover it up a lot of the time, when if they didn't, a lot of the people who don't like the police would start to think "it's a tough job and they're only human, but they're honest"
Of course. However, given that most of the news stories about the police are negative, which Bashir, Aladdin & co jump on, it's nice to get some balance.
I would argue that it would boost the force's morale since these actions have gotten press attention (albeit small local press). One of the most important factors in policing is public confidence and if the public can see that, in addition to the bad stuff that's written about them, most of them are hard-working and good people who would do the things, as you rightly say, that ordinary folk would also do, then it's surely good.
Yeah, because criticising instances where police behaviour has been unacceptable and yet has gone unpunished clearly must mean I believe all cops are bastards.
Jesus fucking christ...
Only for accountants.
I thought that was their natural state
Yeah, I know. We also remove banker's bollocks.
