Last night, I was feeling a bit stressed, and was looking for something to distract myself, so I picked up my knitting needles, and started knitting. Between the ages of about 5 and 12, all my family and toys got given scarves, as that's the only thing I can knit.
The person who originally taught me to knit as a kid, my Godmother, is now dead, and I'd really like to learn how to knit something that isn't a scarf, so be able to use different stitches and follow a pattern. She said she'd teach me, but it's a bit late now, and I want to learn.
How would I go about learning, seeing as I know nobody else that can knit?
