    Organic milk typically has a longer shelf life than ordinary milk due to the pasteurisation process. It is pasteurised at much higher temperatures than ordinary milk, killing micro-organisms in such a way that they cannot even settle once in the refrigerator. Therefore organic milk can last up to 15 days longer than ordinary milk.
