On Channel 5, they are advertising the new 'Grey's Anatomy'. On one of them, there is a female vocal which is kinda 'Evanescence'-like. Any idea who it is?

I dunno. It makes me think of the Grey's anatomy advert, which is on ALL the time on our TV because at the moment we are addicted to CSI and Numb3rs. Saying that, the Numb3rs advert is on SO often as well...
"what about the devastation you cause?"
"you took over four illegal markets at the same time?"
"You have international prima cartells after you!" (whatever they are.)

I love CSI and quite like numbers. Are you watching them on a different channel to me though, as I don't recognise the advert?

I watch Numbers on Five at 7pm and then CSI usually on Five USA at 8 and then 9  it's my weeknight routine at the moment.

And we in Television Studies call that the 'super-flow', your household navigation, the 'custom flow' through what is available the 'schedule flow' -interesting huh? *sigh*

I don't have any channels, my fucking Sky doesn't work. It only worked for a few weeks and then... nada. shitty fuzzy terestrial.

CSI is one of the best things on telly.

New York > Vegas (new one, not the old one) > Miami

And they use the music of the greatest band of all time in the credits of all three.

Miami was my favourite but it's not been on for a while, I'm really into Vegas at the moment. I haven't been able to get into NY yet but I've only seen a couple of episodes.

(We've only had cable for 3 weeks)

I'm sorry, but Horatio Kane sucks donkey balls. Why a ginger man would choose to live and work in Miami is quite beyond me. He must blow a fortune in sun cream.

    What are the CSI credits?

    Three songs by The Who:

    Baba O'Riley (New York)
    Who Are You (Vegas)
Won't Get Fooled Again (Miami); also known as the best rock song ever written.

 I hadn't actually considered his suncream needs when watching CSI!
Vegas is my favourite at the moment, the characters are good. Sometimes when you watch a LOT in one week (like the first week of having cable being the Easter weekend...) the murders get a bit repetetive. Like when all of the victims turn out to have killed themselves accidentally.

I get irritated by the very 'posey' stances he makes.

Also, what irritates me about CSI, is that so much unnecessarily takes place in darkened rooms and darkened laboratories when, for fucks sake, why doesn't someone just turn a bloody light on?????

Lawrence Fishburn is really, really good in Vegas, and of course Gary Sinise is fantastic as Mac Taylor in NY.

I also love the spectacular montages in CSI. I think they do it deliberately as a homage to Matt Stone and Trey Parker.
