Hi,

I wanted to learn German, i was wondering if someone can suggest me some good book or internet resources?

    Depending on your finances, you could try your local library for a Linguaphone or similarly structured course. I'm also a big fan of Open University language courses too, if you would prefer to have a bit of support. OU costs a bit though. Current fee for beginners' German is £445 with full tutor support. However, even if you don't want tutor support, OU courses are really well structured. I recently bought a second-hand beginners' Spanish course on eBay for £80. If you go for this option though, check the OU site to make sure that you are getting the complete package.
