Nice pics, David. Why would you ever want to change that camera?
  • Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Because I wanted a change. I wanted something which would take better photos (although my new pne takes blurry photos!!).
I wanted a camera which would take blurry water such as this link, (photo 8)

Pics 1 to 5 and the last one are from my new camera, the 450D.

I am keeping my old camera so that I can take it fishing with me.

but if you wanted to get wanter blurry all you would need to do is make the appature smaller and increase the shutter speed (you'd need a tripod though)

so why would you need a new camera for that????

also, i'm doing some night photography soon, which is where you find somewhere that would make a good photography during the day, go back at around dusk so you can set up with some light, wait for a few hours (which is why i'm taking my psp, food and hot drink with me) then take a long exposure, around 10-15mins usually and you get a photograph that capture some awesome colours of the night sky and yet still has some brilliant foreground interest, i'll post it up when i've done it

I haven't posted on this board for ages (3 years) but something made me think of it tonight, so I came back to have a gander and found this thread. Well, I couldn't resist.

I really like Knee High Stripy's shots of tree silhouettes and the macro of a feather by Kaff.

    Some of my recent faves

    Some polaroids :)
LOVE the polaroids! I've got some buried away at home somewhere, will have to dig them out.

Some nice shots there Monsieur Croque. I like the life/death themes in the last two - don't know if that was intended, but it's what I get from them.

Niamh, No I haven't done a college course in the subject. I was thinking about going on an (D)SLR course, if there is such a thing, but haven't got round to it. xx

    Some good photos here!!!

Thought I'd post up a couple of my pics from Glastonbury, they were only taken on my phone so the quality's not great, but I was pleased with a few of them :)

Have you tried looking at your local college in a-level photography classes?

haha. Check this out. I did not make them, but a friend of mine (just taking them from his facebook). He played a lot with HDR and high exposure time photography and check out the results:

And last but not least, the last, but most amazing one. Why you might ask? Because this is not the sun in the picture. It's the moon. The photo was made at three in the morning.
