i am off to dublin next month with my boyfriend for my birthday.

we are only going for three days but want to do lots of nice things.

any suggestions? thanks :)

    - Guinness brewery (which is actually really good, even if you don't like the stuff). The museum / tour is actually really interesting and the view from the bar at the top looks out over the whole city.
    - Jameson's Distillery, if you're into that kind of thing
    - Trinity College and the whole Temple Bar area

    These are the things I did when I went, but was only there for a day, and went and got annihilated in the evening.

    we are staying in temple bar :)

    we have ended up purchasing 2 three day dublin pass thingys (http://www.dublinpass.ie/dublinpass/) that get us into a variety of places...guiness brewery jameson distillery, the dublin zoo, kilmainham gaol and lots of other things like castles & museums so i'm sure we'll find lots to do :)

    Oh Helen, you made me sad, that was so long ago :(

    And I hope you aren't staying in the Rainbow Hostel :lol: I still remember the bartender at the Best Western was very nice. As Americans, he didn't hate us!
