Dr or nurse for the pill?

i'm confused as to who i need to see to get the pill. does it have to be a doctor or will a nurse be able to prescribe it? thanks :)

    i think a dr has to prescribe it first time round, then the nurse will deal with you, or at least, thats the way its been in my experience

    That said, as long as it's a nurse in a family planning clinic, walk in, or GP practice or the like then you can see them, they check through everything then just get the prescription signed, so a nurse appointment will do the trick.

    got them :) need to wait to start them, but hopefully they'll be alright.

    was petrified when i went there though! the doctor too my blood pressure and heart rate- thats not going to be accurate!
