Also try Roni Size, DJ Hype, Andy C, Shy FX...
Good website to have a look at is Drum & Bass Arena
I'm sure others will be along with more info soon but this might be a good start
I stopped listening to D&B when it losts it soul. Anythign after 2000 doesn't really do much for me.
Here's some quality D&B and Jungle anthems from a period before that. Bit different to Chase&Status and Pendulum though...

Hospital Records is a good label...not a fan of all the Liquid Stuff though, some of it is a bit 'airy fairy' for my liking. I listen to Trance for euphoria, Drum & Bass needs to be meaty, dark and heavy.
Can't help but love some Liquid D'n'B though, High Contrast, Logistics, Danny Byrd, Nu: Tone and Cyantific are sick. London Elektricity on the other hand, are fucking terrible IMO. lol.
Friction, Brockie, Zinc, Andy C, Hype, Nicky Blackmarket, Shy FX, Noisia...
Will think of more later.
Haha really? I've never known someone like all those other artists but not LE...I saw them play as a live band ages ago and thought they were fantastic. Some of their tunes (especially the newer stuff) can be hit and miss though I suppose.
I'm seconding Andy C...
It's not any particular DJ, it's about the era. The best D&B and Junglehas always been played at underground raves.
Seriously get on Limewire and download some Dreamscape, Helter Skleter, Slammin Vinly, One Nation, Telepathy, AWOL sets. That's where the best of D&B has always been played.
The main ones are: jump-up, liquid, (oldskool) jungle, techstep and intelligent.
That's my take on it anyway, everyone see the development differently. Some get annoyed if you call "jungle" drum and bass and vice versa.
You said you enjoy Chase & Status, Subfocus. Both of who are signed to Ram Records (Andy C and Ant Miles' label) so a good start would be to check out their back catalogue: http://www.discogs.com/label/RAM+Records
Artists I can recommend highly would include: LTJ Bukem, Ed Rush & Optical, Noisia, Goldie, Bad Company, Matrix & Futurebound, Fresh, D-Bridge, Calibre, Fierce, Spor.
There's literally hundreds of decent artists to check out. Get yourself onto http://www.dogsonacid.com/ that's your one stop shop for all drum and bass needs, and far better than that shite DNBA. :thumb:
listening to some DnB now EPICCC!
Glad you're lovin the dnb!
I second LTJ Bukem. Marky is another one for a listen, he's Brazillian.
DJ Probe too....darkside, techy stuff.
This has been my favourite D'n'B track for a long time...
Ram Trilogy - Screamer

Favourite D&B track of all time.
God I love DnB
Phat track.
I've got a mental old skool set by Andy C that opens up with that track, complete with Steve Hyper D rinsing out over it.
"You waited this long for your tickets, then you got your tickets, now you're on the dancefloor, listening to the DJ, to the MC, it's time to riiiiiinse-out!"
That sets been doing the rounds for years. 1998 I think, not long before Hyper D died.

Ed Rush, Optical and Fierce - Alien Girl

Used to make me do a little sick in my mouth whenever I heard those basslines on a night out.
