Nothing new I know but just thought I'd bring this up.

The survey from which the stat is taken had a reasonable population size for a minority - 200 - and given all of the other triangulating evidence is probably isn't far wrong.

Just have a look at some of the comments received at the bottom of the page - and this is the country (as USSR) that Paul Robeson fled to, stating 'here - for the first time in my life - I walk in dignity'.

    I've never heard a football manager say that he couldn't buy any black players because the crowd wouldn't have allowed it, like Dick Advocat did when he was the Zenit manager, so this doesn't massively surprise me.

    Having said that, it would be interesting to see the equivalent in other countries too, because at least as far as verbal abuse goes, I suspect we wouldn't be far off. Maybe not so much physical assault.
