FUEL ps3 game HELP

Bought this excellent game on friday.

I have collected the cars in the first area except the secret vehicle (god knows here that is!!!)

Now I have a question....where do I purchase new vehicles from?????

I have got a stage where I can't win a race with a quad-like bike. (The race is on the bottom edge of an area. Two vehicles speed ahead and I cannot catch them up.


Any helpl would be of great help!!

    I now have another problem where I can't finish 1st on the endurance races both on challenge mode and career mode. It is totally p"ssing me off badly.

    I need a vehicle which will go faster than the others, but all I have is the first quad-bike which you unlock.???
