Start slow. Have lots of foreplay. Play with yourself while your anus is played with. If you are not aroused then anal sex will not go well.

Always remember LUBE LUBE and MORE LUBE. The choice of lube can be the the biggest "mistake" that beginners make. You have to find the right lube. Lube meant for vaginal sex is not necessarily great for anal sex. You need to have a lube that coats well and does not dry easily or get sticky. There are a lot of anal lubes on the market. Some are good and a lot are not. Unfortunately it usually means that you will have to experiment with them to figure out what you like but I recommend Astroglide.

Remember anal sex should be painless. The first time may be uncomfortable - but should never be painful. If there is pain you are rushing it or something is wrong. You may just need to play longer - especially if your guy has a large penis that has wider girth. You can try toys that will gradually stretch you out a bit over time so that once you do eventually start anal sex, he can fit inside you easier.

Once he has fingered you and loosened your anus, he should apply lube to his cock (apply thickly to the head and shaft) and to the inside of your anus as best he can. He should then SLOWLY slip the head of his cock inside you - then stop! After this, its best that you press against him so that you can guide his penis in at your own speed. The trick is to try and relax the inner sphincter. Pain is usually caused by the penis being driven against a closed sphincter. If it feels sore, get him to take his cock out, add more lube and try again. It usually takes more than one attempt for a more comfortable penetration.

Once he is inside of you, get him to vary the rate and depth of his strokes. Sometimes being fucked fast is less painful than being fucked slowly.

Above all this, the MOST important thing is communication - especially at the starter level. Talk to him and guide him through the process. Once you are having good anal sex, it will take your sexual pleasure to new heights. Good luck! :)
