How do you watch TV in halls? My mates mostly have laptops, but I've got just a regular box telly. I spend most of my time on their machines as it's so much easier to find what I'm after. Do you prefer watching TV on a laptop? What do you think's better about it?

My dad didn't even know you could watch TV on a laptop, bless him.

I'm in uni halls at the moment and watch TV on my laptop, only cos i dont wanna pay for a TV license.

When I'm at home i just watch TV as normal.

Next year, I'm moving into a shared house and we've all agreed to get a TV license. I probably wont bring a TV to have in my room though, I'll just watch the TV in the living room and if i want to be alone, i'll watch it on my laptop in my room.

I agree its better if you want to watch a specific thing but sometimes its not nice to just turn the TV on and watch whatevers on, especially in the mornings. You cant really do that with a laptop.
