Horse riding - often gets you outside if you go on hacks, keeps you fit, although often very expensive.

Canoeing - something I've really enjoyed in the past, although again this ends up being quite expensive if you take it seriously and buy all the equipment.

Caving - Again something I've done a couple of times in the past and really enjoyed, not sure how expensive it would be if you wanted to take it up regularly.

Have you got an idea of budget that you would be willing to spend on taking up a new activity? There are lots of outdoorsy type things that once you have got the basic equipment require little funding, but others end up being quite pricey.

Hmm i dont know really. How much do these sorta things cost.

I dont really know if i would do it regularly. I just fancy doing something abit different. Caving sounds cool actually, something like that. I'll have a google about actually, probably easy. But thanks for the ideas! :)

Rock climbing and absailing!! (sp?) Immense fun!

I recommend gorge walking too, from time to time!

Or you could just go feed the ducks...

I used to do all these things during school. There's a few groups where I live that do this kind of thing. Take a look around where you live for free group days out.

    Cycle.

I used to enjoy shooting animals with my airgun but now I'm a wimp and feel bad if I kill anything.

    Dogging.

Although joining a rowing club is cheap and they supply all you need. :)

    Flashing

    Flishing!

Flash whilst you fish. 'Cause let's face it, fishing is boring. Just be careful which tackle you dangle in the water. Or something.

Rock climbing is something I've always fancied, despite my shocking lack of upper body strength. Or ... any body strength to be honest at the moment.

A friend of mine from school played golf. We always took the mickey a little, because it was 'an old man's game'

Last I heard he'd moved to Dubai to play golf professionally on ridiculous money and was about to get married. Shows how much I know!! :D

Golf is boring to watch not to play.
Fishing is a superb activity but not that active. When I go fishing I end up drinking myself stupid aswell.
Both can be quite expensive too.
