vegi's for a kebab

Thinking of grilling some but I have no idea what vegi's would go along with it. Onions and pepper is all I've got so far. What else? Would artichoke or eggplant (abergine, is it?) be good? Aspargus? I don't know.

    quartered lemons/limes - depending on the meat.

    Oh thanks for all the ideas! Whodathunkit. So many options I could even give the man all the meat and have vegi kebabs! Garlic :yum: never even thought of that.

    baby tomatoes, pinapple (even though its a fruit..goes very well though).

    I've read about that so many times and I cannot find this cheese to save my life :( It seems the grocery stores around me go as exotic as brie in the cheese department :grump: I'm so jelous!

    Oh no! I was going to suggest halloumi cheese with peppers, shame :(

    I like the garlic idea, maybe roast it off a bit first so it goes sweet :yum:

    Yeah. Maybe they've banned it here? The terrorists eat it? It's gotta be around somewhere... just been too lazy to find a cheese shop or any kind of specality/international stores. Maybe for this I will.
