Easter Lunch

I meant to be cooking for me and a friend both who are stuck in halls on easter sunday (he's luckily spent 2 weeks at home in germany but anyway)

he's bringing desert back with him as he's flying in on saturday night, but i want to do a traditional roast, but i have realised that i need to make it as easy as possible as i'm not exactly 100% in my own mind right now...

i'm thinking some lamb in already prepared-just-bung-in-the-oven thing, and the same thing with veggies...

but it also sounds like a cop out...

any ideas as to what i could do to jazz it up a bit?

    yorkshire puddings? mmmm

Even if they are the ones you put in the oven for 5 mins.

    Or proper meat gravy

eta - stuffing, even though it's lamb, who cares?

ok, well when i got to the supermarket, there were no ready prepared things, so i've got lamb shanks, carrots, savoy cabbage, yorkys, green beans, some rosemary, garlic, mint, red currant jelly, and potatoes....

i was thinking of doing a redcurrent jelly glaze, or just seasoning it with rosemary, garlic and mint...

any idea how long they'll take to cook? about 400g each...
