Sex Education vs. Pornography

Sort of related to this site I suppose.

Has anyone been watching this?

As good as the sex education bit is, has anyone noticed how biased it has been in ensuring its editorial line that pornography is corrupting teenagers?

I've been watching and I agree with the porn bit. It seems to be mostly concentrating on the EXTREMEPR0NZ rather than the part where it's perfectly healthy to watch/masturbate to porn as long as they're aware that it's not the norm.

I am quite shocked though at how many of those teenagers thought porn girls were normal :/.

I've watched them all so far, and agree it is fairly biased but I suppose it is more about protecting very young children from such images which won't be masturbating over such stuff rather than the teenagers who will. With the teenagers it is more to do with educating them about sex.

It did make me laugh that a 15 year old female didn't realise that a woman's nipples became erect. Has she never been cold?

Definately, its off putting to watch. I thought I knew a lot but I can't believe how little some 16 year olds know.

No they didn't. If you watched carefully, you'd notice that they all preferred an absolutely perfect surgery job to (essentially) the breasts of a bunch of middle-aged women.

And then they preferred the women they see in porn to the women in front of them. Again, I'm not surprised. The women in front of them were normal-looking women, who I would put in their 30s. It's not exactly a revelation that 16 year old boys would prefer attractive 20 year olds to average 30 year olds, so to then blame this on the "unnatural image" they're getting from porn is ridiculous. I avoid fake breasts in porn, but I would've answered the same way. If you choose pornography based on whether you find the girl attractive, how is it a surprise that you prefer those girls to a bunch of randoms someone else has selected specifically for their averageness? You might argue that it results in blokes overemphasising the physical, but I would argue that porn exists because of this instinct, not the other way around. Which is why they've never been able to make porn for women. Not successfully, anyway.

And this is what I was on about when I thought they were simply using anything to follow their editorial line, and not following it up in more detail at all.

Isn't that exactly what Aj Fan said, that they preferred the 'fake' breasts?

Absolutely. But my point was that the programme attempted to claim that teenage boys prefer fake breasts in general, because they chose these particular fake breasts over these particular real breasts. You could quite easily show the opposite by changing the choice of fake and real breasts, but the programme seems to have no interest in being balanced about it, because the editorial line is right there in the title.

This programme is genius and hilarious banter. Wish my sex ed at school was so much fun.

'Sex is a great way to lose weight.' Haha! Ace.
