Living in london

Hey guys,

Just looking for some advice for moving into london, been working up there for 7months now and hate the 2 hour each way train journey, so looking to get a houseshare but have no idea where the best place to look other then gumtree? what else will i need to think about?

any advice from people that have moved into london would help :-)

    I feel your pain, I did the 2 hour commute to London for 4 years!

    Moveflat.com and Findaproperty.com are both good websites to check out.

    Think about the areas you'd like to live in and spend time wandering around them during the day and in the evenings. Consider your budget and don't forget to account for things like council tax.

    I know Dear Wendy spent a long time discussing moving to London a while ago - not sure if she did make the move in the end? But lots of people had information and advice to share so you're bound to get lots of replies.
