How do young kids like 15 year olds find jobs these days? Where to apply?
I see all these kids with jobs and my 15 year old brother is trying to find a job, but can't...Where should he look to apply?

Walk into places like shops, take aways etc and ask if they need anyone for work, most places like that have posters up with positions available. It's just a matter of keeping your eye out.

Write a CV and just print about 25 off or so and just go to every single shop you can find. I think at 15 there are restrictions on the kinds of work you're allowed to do though. I think at 15 I had a paper round, £12 a week for an hours work a day 6 days a week... £2 an hour :(

    I don't really see why you'd want a job at 15 tbh.

And there aren't enough jobs going round for school leavers at the moment so trying to find one at 15 might prove a little difficult.

blakesma's suggestions seem the most likely... Cash in hand sort of jobs.

I used to work for a builder in the village. When I was 14 I just asked if he wanted somebody to do a bit of labouring and he did.
    Used to get 40 quid a day - I thought I'd made it. :)

Around that age I used to deliver medicines from a chemist to customers on a bicycle. I have always been useless with early starts so worked out better than a paperound as it was in the evenings.

What?! I wasn't aware you could actually work in a shop or whatever until you were 16?!

But aye, you can do paper rounds, run errands for people and babysit/petsit.

i used to glass collect in a pub/club at that age, which meant decent rates of pay, usually £6 an hour or so then usually free drinks at the end of the night for as long as people wanted to drink for...i was then working on the bar by age 16, however that is illegal. Used to love it.
