Water Bill

Hey there,

When i moved down to Reading in July i paid the water bill which would go upto the 1st April. We've just had a new bill come which lasts from the 1st April to March 2010.

The thing is, we arent here much longer, only up until this July. So do we still have to pay it or is there a way around it?

    I would phone the water company up. They would probs just recalculate it til the date you would be leaving.

    Ask for a payment card, use it at Pay Point outlets like post office, and corner shop etc, and pay fortnightly.

    If they won't recalculate it now then just pay monthly until when you leave, then contact them to say you are moving out.

    Otherwise, if monthly is not an option you should still be able to claim a refund when you move out.
