Completely shaved or leave some hair?

NO - not like the way you're thinking 
I'm bald on top, and for years I shave my head pretty close, either a number 1 or without the guard on so it's a little longer than stubble.
Other times though I wet-shave it so I look a bit Shoulin Monk-esque.
Question is, for you ladies who like shaved heads, so you prefer a number 1 type length or would wet-shaving it all off make no difference?

On the husband I prefer just a bit of stubble - the without the guard on look. He's wet shaved it before but I'm not convinced - looks a bit hooliganish for my liking. I do know people who it really suits though.
