Sorry, former mobster town profits as a secondary industry to corporate greed; I'm sorry for the ordinary person that this will affect but if you base your whole economic system on one fat greedy horse, when it keels over you can't really complain...

    I'd agree. I also think they're shooting the messenger (Obama), given that in an economic slowdown people are less likely to go to Vegas whether or not Obama said anything

    true, although given the tide of national and international support that was given to Obama, you might be forgiven for thinking that alot of corporations are getting the 'Jesus is coming - look busy' feeling...

    I think he is angry because he does not want them doing business with the opposition.

    The biggest casino in town is Wall Street. It might make him happy if they "re-invested" their bonuses in the bond market, because I do not think his own stimulus will do the trick.

    The only reason I can think of for why we want that city to stick around is that it serves as a magnet for scummy people and helps to keep their populations down in the rest of our states.

    Sorry, I'm not sure I understood what Obama said... Can someone clarificate?

    Did he just say that if you want to go to Vegas you should use your own money? That's what I got... And people are openly mad about it?
