I was given a months notice due to redundancy and I have looked at the acas site ( http://www.acas.org.uk/index.aspx?articleid=1650 ), to see what I'm entitled to. I am working 4 weeks notice, and it says i am allowed 2 paid days off during this period. Is this correct?
I've heard I may be entitled to a lot more. I have been working there for 11 months, btw.
Thanks.

you need to of worked a full year at least to get any redunacy payments.
But this is statutory payments, so check your contract.
ACAS says i can have 2/5ths of a working week opaid time off, while BERR says i have to have worked there for 2 continuous years to be entitled to this.
I know i'm not elligable for redunacy pay havinf only been there less than a year.
