Me and my boyfriend will be privately renting but when we do this i'll be a uni student and he'll have just finsihed uni and only be earning about 11k a year after deductions.
I believe we qualify for the LHA which for our area is £140ish a week maximum for a 1 bedroom self contained flat, savings and income affect this but our income would be 11k wages and my student grant and loans income of about 5k so 16-17k in total.
What amount of LHA are we likely to receive a week?
Although we'd qualify for a 1 bedroom allowance would we have to rent a 1 bedroom flat or could we go for 2 bedrooms as in our area there are hardly any 1 bedroom fully furnished.
