I HATE deciphering assignment titles. It just doesn't make sense to me at all. Everyone else, understandably is busy as we have 4 deadlines next week, but just argh!!! I'm terrified I've done it all wrong, and dont really understand the bloody title. *gives up*

Why do they make them so complicated though, or is that just me?!!!

Tell me about it, I've just finished "Drawing on a number of strategic management models and frameworks studied in Term 1 produce a critical analysis and evaluation of a corporate strategy of a well known company of your choice. " which is probably the easiest title all year.

I have to do 2000-2500 words each on these two babies by next Thursday:

How does ?double consciousness? shape Frederick Douglass?s Narrative?

To what degree is The Scarlet Letter about the inner struggle with secret selves?

Those are the easiest questions on my list. Huzzah.

Tell me about it. I wish they'd just say what they mean instead of pussy footing around. I did shit in my philosophy exam last semester because although my essays were interesting, apparently, they didn't actually answer the question. Probably because I didn't really know what it was asking me.

We did have one philosophy question that was:
    What is there?
Needless to say I didn't attempt to tackle that one.

I would have thought that would get your more marks in philosophy! :)

Can't you just go up to the professor and ask what in the world you are supposed to do? Or give them rough drafts of your assignments a while before and ask for critiques on how to better it?

If only this was the case... *sigh*

I quite like 'to what extent' though, it also feels like permission to not be that concerned about being specific or really factual. Let's me get away with some personal opionion and judgements on events or situations or theories.

In what ways might... that's the opposite though, hate that because it feels like I'm being locked into finding more proof...

God I haven't done an essay for forever

I like discuss, hate both of the examples above, which I am staring at in despair. If you're doing the scrotes, will you do mine too?

The worst are one's where you have to comment on quotes.

How about this gem of a one that was given earlier in the year:

“Without revolutionary terror, the blacks had no chance.” Discuss. 3,000 word essay.

I did nearly fail politics and did well in film - make your own judgement on whether you want me to do your essay :)
