V-neck jumpers

This is starting to do my head in now...
I bought a nice v-neck jumper from Gap a couple of years ago to wear to work (merino wool one). It got a tear in it and I've gone back to buy another, except now they seem to have a massive neck so that my shirt shows on the shoulders by my collar and the neck line is too low (below the 3rd button - i.e. the second one that's done up).
I've also tried Zara and Debenhams, but their v-necks are either way too short (arm and body) or have the same stupid over-sized neck.
I can't seem to find a nice v-neck jumper with a normal sized neck that will only show the collar my shirt.
Does anyone have any ideas of where to get one?
I'm looking to spend up to £35...maybe £40 at a push. I want black, charcoal grey, or navy.
Thanks!

Hmm, yeah I might give them a try tomorrow. Thanks!
50 squid though. Abit pricey.
