Film - Hunger - just one of the cinema's all time great debuts

Album - Brooklyn Academy 'Bored of Education'

Book - The English Civil War: A People's History by Diane Purkiss - again not really from this year but I enjoyed it.

Game - Has to be Fallout 3

And I'll add one for answering yours :p -

TV - The Devil's Whore (go watch it on 4od, it's brilliant)

I shouldn't really do threads like this. I never catch anything the first time round. It's usually at least a year until I see them. I'm still waiting for those two Che Guevara films that were at Cannes last year. We don't have an art cinema near me. It'll be at least 2011 by the time I see them, I bet.

Well Part 1 is just out, and in mainstream cinemas - if you go see it on the 1st they are showing part 2 with it... only chance to see both parts for a fair few months

Book: Right Hand, Left Hand - Chris McManus

Game: either Call of Duty: World at War, Pro Evo 2009 or Resident Evil 4
    TV: Prison Break series 4
