Pulled Thigh Muscles

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
So I was doing my aerobic strip tease DVD happy as you like, feeling pretty good about not being lazy. But the next day my legs seriously hurt like fuck, right up the back of my thighs. Is it likely I was using muscles I haven't used before, or is it because I used muscles that don't normally get used that much?
No pain, no gain, right?
But walking up and down stairs really really hurts. I couldn't do any exercise today because they hurt so much so I had tea and a doughnut instead :( Boo.

Anything I can do for the pain in the meanwhile??

    Did you stretch after?

Is it a stiff like pain or painful pain?

Didn't really stretch after actually... Ooops...

It's definitely a stiff pain. It takes me ages to stand up.

Stretching afterwards doesn't actually do that much to ward off aches and pains at all.

Is this the first time through with this DVD?

    Yeah.

Then it's simply because you haven't exercised like that before, and so you're muscles will be 'damaged', and will be repairing themselves now.

It is 100% normal. Simple as.

Get plenty of good food into you.
