ok, odd assignment...
rather than finding sources and writing an essay and putting the sources in the bibliography, i have to just find the sources and creat the bibliography....
i've chosen music and gender and to narrow that down the title i have chosen is: the enduring legacy of the riot grrl movement...
I have got to come up with the equivilant number of sources so i have about 700 words (so around 60 sources i've been told)...
I've already used: Factiva, Jstor, IIMP, Google scholar, suncat, and a couple of others and only come up with 5. I'm going to go to the library at uni and the westminster music library, but otherwise i'm lost for further peer reviewed sources?
help!

For music:

Womens/gender:

I usually find tons through EBSCO no matter the subject thus far
On EBSCO, enabling all databases, there were 158 results with "riot grrrl" as the search term
Nonetheless, have a go at Jstor.
Cannot for the life of me remember the name.
don't understand that one...
so far i've got 11 on the list and i've used: EBSCO, JSTORE, Suncat, google scholar, factiva and iimp, as well as having a look on amazon...

I'll have a look when I get back from shoving my face
How is it I can do this but I can't even open a book to read my own homework
might have to go to the british library, and maybe the westminster music library on tuesday...
I mean between Tank Girl, Love and Rockets you'd have a few. Then you've for the Riot Grrl Retrospective documentary, and then you've a pile of zines you could source from - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riot_grrrl#Zines_and_self_publishing

Sorry just realised you said you'd looked on Amazon so sure you have all of these - if you didn't shout and I could drag out more.
And hey, just shout if you need any of the earlier Tank Girl issues of Deadline, they're doing nothing stuck in a draw up here.
up to 14 now...going very slow and i'm still not too sure if i'm really doing this right. I'm going ask my lecturer tomorrow if i'm going along the right track...but it does say the equivilant to 700 words...i'm already at near 500...so confused!
you did find a couple i didn't have.
now up to...20 sources and 562 words....nearly there!
