Window/door security?

I was looking at buying some Door Security Bolts from Yale but they are about 20 quid a pop, is there any cheaper ones that are as good and what do you recommend for securing windows?

    get decent drop bars for your doors, theyd have some craic trying to get past those if they're fitted right..

    For windows I suggest small locking bolts that can be screwed into the frames, don't do them on the same frame as the main latch though.

    As for door bolts, £20 sounds about right, although if you can find a small local hardware shop you'll probably find them cheaper.
